Police suspect their vehicle fell from a bridge near southern Bedouin town; in a separate incident, a 15-year-old rushed to hospital in serious condition after a car flips over in Rahat

A young man in his 20s was killed and two others were seriously injured in a car crash late Friday night in the Negev.

Police suspect their vehicle fell from a bridge on Route 310 near the Bedouin village of Tirabin al-Sana and have opened an investigation into the incident.

Two seriously injured victims were rushed to Beersheba’s Soroka Medical Center while Magen David Adom medics were forced to declare the death of the third victim at the scene.

This was the second deadly car crash that took place in the Negev this week. On Wednesday, a two-year-old was killed after being struck by a vehicle in the Bedouin town of Hura.

Earlier Friday night, a 15-year-old was seriously injured when a car flipped over in the nearby Bedouin town of Rahat.
